Pakton electric fence monitor

Description

The Pakton PTE0703 provides electrics fence voltage information over an RS232

serial link to the C3.

Electrical connection

• When supplied via Observant the PTE0703 comes pre-wired with a 4 m

 DBCMFBOEDBOCFDPOOFDUFEBTTIPXOJOæHVSF

• Note that reliable operation cannot be guaranteed if the cable is extended

• Existing PTE0703s will need to be disassembled and connected

according to table 21

Installation notes

• The PTE0703 should be mounted as close as possible to the fence being

monitored

• The C3 should be positioned some metres away from the fence
