Connections

• Observant devices (V1, M2, L1) come pre-terminated with a

waterproof 4-way in-line connector. Tails and extensions for these

cables are available for straight forward plug-in scenarios

• The number of external connectors in system should be minimised so

as to reduce maintenance and the chances of pest or environmental

damage to cabling

• Device cable can be directly terminated at the screw-terminal blocks

on the front of the C3. These connections are completely protected

from the elements in the case of Solar Enclosure usage

Switched input

• Any switch can be monitored via an input. The input supplies an

internally generated voltage of ~5 V (Figure 14 left)

• A voltage output can also be connected to a C3 input. In this case the
